Magic of the Sea

The poetry of the ocean and the creatures of the islands capture our imagination and take us on a creative learning adventure. An exploration of life above and under sea level told through music, story and acrobatics. Become a manta ray and a shark as you listen and participate in folk tales and true stories from Indonesia.

Monkey Tales

Animals certainly are the smartest creatures. In these delightful Asian versions of Aesop's Fables, it is the creatures that teach us about Indian culture, geography and history. Leave the program dancing like a monkey, slithering like a snake and roaring like a tiger!

Immigrant Quilt

Celebrate our journey to and survival in a new land. Travel back in time to Senegal, Russia and England. Listen to historical folk tales and true stories from communities that traveled a great distance to finally settle in the United States. Many people came here by choice and others were forced to come here bringing with them only their stories. Walk away with a broader understanding of our diverse community both in the past and present.

The Fastest Plane

Around the world in 45 minutes: a multi-lingual program. Together we will dance through the streets of America, Mexico and India. Discover the similarities and differences between these diverse cultures. Leave the program wanting to read more folk tales and tell more stories.

Classically Different Adventures

On the surface, people may look different, but at heart they are all our heroes. Classic Folk Tales like Thumbelina told from the perspective of another culture. A fun and adventurous program that explores the characteristics of a traditional hero in a non-traditional style.

A Link in the Circle [3rd-6th grade]

What it is like to be so immersed in a culture where your guesthouse owner becomes your adopted "Aunt?" Discover what it means to travel alone with only the support of total strangers. Witness the differences and similarities between these diverse countries.

Festa: A Dance of Cultures

(Now including three Musician/Dancers) Let us dance across Brazil. Let us dance and play music across Brazil. We can travel from the Atlantic Ocean to the Amazon, over the mountains and through the fast moving cities. Listen to folk tales, songs and personal stories about a country that is passionate about life and community.

Welcoming In the New Year

Every family has a special way of bringing in the New Year. Sometimes they celebrate this holiday on a different date than January 1st like the Chinese New Year or the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. Sing, dance and bring in the New Year on any day of the year with these three unusual yet very traditional tales about the "same holiday".

Tales of Mystery where the Fool Prevails
